4. Double, tripple allocations

The last and final reason we will discuss in regards to stands being so cheap is rather a sad one. It is no secret that we live in a dog eat dog world whereby one does what they have to get by even if it is unethical. More often than not we see cases whereby people are being allocated stands that already have owners. The buyer is usually presented with fake paperwork. Sellers know that most buyers will commence building once payment is done in full and this might take anywhere between 6 to 18 months depending on the developer. Sellers take advantage of this and sell the stand to other buyers who view the vacant stand. The end goal here for the seller is unknown as one way or the other buyers will eventually find out they have purchased a stand that someone else owns. You would think sellers fear the law but no this practice continues to happen as shown in the case studies below.
